Cricket Alexander is a multi-media artist who currently divides her time between Paducah and New York City. Originally from California, she lived and worked in Europe for several years before moving to New York, where she owned a costume design shop and boutique.
Cricket has shown her work nationally and internationally. Currently, her major creative emphasis is the creation of dolls and the interpretation of their stories through photography, painting, writing, and staged scenarios. The dolls are meticulously clothed with hand tailored garments that help interpret the characters they portray.
